Associations
American Builders Association (ABA)
ABA is the membership organization that supports the ABIC, RRG through it's insurance
premiums and membership dues. Dues to the association flow back to ABIC as
contributions to capital and surplus. Capital contributions equal 10% of the
first year's premium, which are payable by new members at the time they join the
RRG. Each member is provided a certificate of membership with their policy
and outlines their member benefits within the bylaws of the association and membership
agreement.
The Home Builders Association of Alabama (HBAA)
HBAA, a trade association of over 10,200
members in 27 local associations statewide, serves as an advocate for Alabama’s
housing industry and as a corporate channel through which home builders contribute
time, money and services to local community service projects and education initiatives.
As an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a federation
of more than 850 state and local associations with 220,000 members nationwide, HBAA
is part of the most influential and active organization representing the building
industry. HBAA members include builders, remodelers, developers, suppliers,
manufacturers, architects, engineers, real estate brokers, lenders, attorneys and

Loss Control
Material Risk Assessment (MRA)
MRA is a the exclusive provider of loss control services to ABIC, RRG and the ABA member insureds. Depending on the size of an account, MRA offers various levels of services that may include physical inspections, loss control surveys, safety planning and program initiates. In addition, active ABA members are entitled to a personalized "Mywave" web site that contains time saving tools and resources to help you build safety programs, maintain OSHA compliance, and administer employee communication and HR related topics.
